Critical wear components on ageing plant were no longer available from the original supplier, leaving the maintenance team exposed to long import lead times on every failure.
We measured the surviving parts, produced full 3D models and manufacturing drawings, and machined replacements in-house using CNC turning, milling and surface grinding. Material specification was matched and improved where the original had proven to be the weak point. Replacements are now produced to order in days rather than months.
